Using the Parent Portal
A step-by-step walkthrough of linking your child, following their day, and staying in touch with their teachers.

Step 1
Create your account
Go to https://parent.nurturly.net/ and tap "Sign up". Enter your full name, email, and a password - or tap "Continue with Google" to skip the password.
That's it - you're in. Your account starts out with no linked children, which is exactly what the next step is for.

Step 2
Link your child to their school
Open the drawer menu (the ☰ icon, top left) and choose "Request Child Access", or use the link from the Home screen's empty state.
Pick your child's school, enter their name and date of birth, and send the request. Your child's school reviews it and matches it to their enrollment record - you'll see the status change to "Approved" once they confirm the link.
Schools can also start the link from their side; if that happens you'll see it here as a request awaiting your acknowledgement instead. Either way, once it's approved there's one more step before you can see any daily updates - turning on your subscription, next.

Step 3
Turn on your subscription
This is the step that actually unlocks your child's daily updates - do it as soon as your child is linked, before you go looking for their activity feed. Without an active subscription, Home and the Daily Report will look empty even though your teacher is logging everything normally.
Open the Subscription tab and tap "Request Activation" next to your child's name. This asks your child's school to turn it on for you - there's no payment step here yet, it's handled directly by the school. You'll see the status change to "Active" once they do.
Come back to this page any time to check the status of each child, or to cancel a subscription you no longer need.

Step 4
See your child's day, live
With an active subscription, Home is the first thing you see. It shows your child's name, age, classroom, and an attendance badge once their teacher has checked them in for the day.
Today's Summary gives you four at-a-glance stat tiles - most recent meal, last nap, diaper count, and current mood - so you can see how the day is going without reading the whole feed.
The Daily Update feed below lists everything logged today, most recent first. If you're linked to more than one child, a switcher in the header lets you flip between them.

Step 5
Browse the full Daily Report
Tap "View Full Report" from Home, or use the Report tab, to see every activity for the day grouped by category: Meals, Nap Time, Diaper Changes, Play, and Mood & Health.
Use the prev/next arrows or the date field to look back at any day in the last three months.

Step 6
Message your child's teacher
Open the Messages tab and tap "New Message" to start a conversation - if you have more than one child, pick which one it's about first, then choose from the teachers in their classroom.
Messages update in real time, and you'll see a "· Read" note once the teacher has opened your latest message. Tap the paperclip icon to attach a photo.

Step 7
Manage your profile
Your Profile page holds account settings, any pending child-access requests, and a school invitation inbox - useful if a school invites your account directly.
A bell icon in the header surfaces pending invites and child-link updates from anywhere in the app.
One more thing
Keep Nurturly a tap away
Add Nurturly to your home screen
Once you're signed in, you can add Nurturly to your phone so it opens like any other app - full screen, with its own icon, no browser bar.
On iPhone (Safari)
- Open the site in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow) in the toolbar.
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add" in the top corner.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open the site in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top corner.
- Tap "Install app" (or "Add to Home screen").
- Confirm by tapping "Install" (or "Add").
An app icon appears on your home screen - tap it any time for quick access, without needing to open your browser or re-type the address.
