Using the School Portal
A step-by-step walkthrough of setting up your school, staff, classrooms, and enrolled children.

Step 1
Register your school
Go to https://school.nurturly.net/ and tap "Sign up". It's a two-step form: first your own account (name, email, password, or "Continue with Google"), then your school's details - name, contact info, address, and the partnership tier you're joining under.
You'll land on your Dashboard as soon as you submit - there's no waiting to start setting things up.

Step 2
While your school is awaiting approval
Your school starts out with "Pending" status - a Nurturly team member reviews new schools before they go fully live.
You're not locked out in the meantime: add your rooms, invite your teaching staff, and enrol children right away, so everything is ready to go. Once your school is approved, the badge switches to "Active" - you'll see this on the School page (below), and nothing else about how you use the portal changes.

Step 3
Your Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you at-a-glance counts for children, teachers, and rooms. Each stat card is clickable and jumps straight to its management page.
If your account has access to more than one school, an Active school dropdown appears in the top bar - every page scopes to whichever school is selected there.

Step 4
Set up your School profile
The School page shows your partnership tier, revenue share, and enrolled-children count, plus an editable form for your school's name, contact info, address, and logo. This is also where the "Active" badge appears once your registration (step 2, above) is approved.
The Attendance timezone dropdown controls which calendar date teachers' attendance records are stamped with - set this if your school spans a different timezone than your teachers' devices.

Step 5
Invite and manage teachers
On the Teachers page, "Invite Teacher" opens a form for the invitee's email and which rooms to assign them to. No account is created up front - they see the invitation next time they open their Profile page in any Nurturly portal.
Sent invitations appear under Pending Invitations until accepted or cancelled. Each teacher in the list links to a detail page with their contact info and room assignments.

Step 6
Set up rooms
The Rooms page lists active classrooms with a quick "Add Room" form for name, age range, and capacity.
Each room's detail page has tabs for its overview, assigned teachers, enrolled children, and settings (including archiving the room).

Step 7
Enrol and manage children
The Children page lists every enrolled child. "Add Child" captures their name, date of birth, room, allergies, medical notes, and an emergency contact.
Each child's detail page has Overview, Parents (link or unlink parent accounts), Activity (everything their teachers have logged), and Settings tabs.

Step 8
Review child-link requests
When a parent asks to link their child (because they haven't been linked yet), it shows up here. Match the request to the right child record and approve it, or reject it if it doesn't match anyone at your school.
