Using the Teacher Portal
A step-by-step walkthrough of attendance, activity logging, and messaging parents - built to fit into a busy classroom day.

Step 1
Create your account
Go to https://teacher.nurturly.net/ and tap "Sign up". Enter your full name, email, and a password - or tap "Continue with Google" to skip the password.
Your account is created right away, but it isn't attached to a school yet - that happens once your school sends you an invitation, in the next step.

Step 2
Get invited and join your school
Ask your school's admin to invite you by email from their Teachers page. You don't need to do anything before that - if you've already signed up, the invitation finds your account automatically.
Once invited, you'll see it two ways: a red badge on the bell icon in your header, and a card under "Invitations" on your Profile page. Tap "Accept" there to join the school and any classrooms you were assigned to.

Step 3
Switch between schools
Most teachers work at one school, but if Nurturly grants your account access to a second one, an "Active school" dropdown appears at the top of your screen.
Pick a school there and every page - Today's Children, Activity Log, Messages - scopes to it. The switch only lasts for your current session; you'll be back on your primary school next time you sign in.

Step 4
Check in Today's Children
Today's Children lists everyone assigned to your room.
Tap Present, Late, or Absent to mark attendance. Once marked, the buttons are replaced by a status badge and a Check Out button - you can still re-mark a child (e.g. Late to Present) later in the day.
Allergies show in red under a child's name so they're never missed.

Step 5
Log an activity
Tap a child, then "+ Log Activity" to open the type picker: Meal, Nap, Diaper, Play, or Mood - each with a purpose-built quick-entry form.
Fill in the details (food and portion for a meal, start/end time for a nap, and so on) and submit. Times default to right now, and you can log another entry immediately afterward.

Step 6
See a child's full day
A child's daily update page shows their attendance status alongside five collapsible activity rows - one per type - each expanding to show every entry logged so far today.

Step 7
Review your Activity Log
The Activity Log tab is a flat, chronological list of everything you've logged today across all your children - handy for a quick end-of-shift review.

Step 8
Reply to parent messages
The Messages tab lists conversations parents have started with you about their child. Open one to reply - parents see your message the moment you send it.
One more thing

- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add" in the top corner.
On Android (Chrome)
